Appliances
Small household appliances include, but are not limited to: window air
conditioners, microwaves, dehumidifiers and compact refrigerators.
Large Appliances include, but are not limited to: stoves, refrigerators, freezers,
ranges, dish washers, washers & dryers, water heaters, central air conditioners, and
furnaces. They will be billed as follows:
Small Appliances:

Large Appliances:

Doors MUST be removed from Refrigerators and Freezers.
Scrap Metal
Scrap Metal is accepted at No Charge to Benton County Residents
Batteries
Modern Alkaline Batteries (normal AA & AAA) do NOT need to be recycled
and can be safely thrown away in your garbage.
Lead Acid battery - such as car, truck or tractor batteries - need to be recycled.
Re-Chargeable batteries, come in many shapes and sizes, and are used in many
electronics devices and power tools, and do need to be recycled.
