Fees
Landfills are designed to accept ONLY certain types of
wastes, and depending upon the type and quantity, our
users will be billed accordingly.
Some items, like fluorescent bulbs and batteries are
accepted at No Charge to Benton County Residents.
Hazardous Material like Asbestos are NOT accepted.

Recycling
Recycling is environmentally friendly, economically sound and just makes sense
for ourselves, and for those that will come afters.
Businesses, city dwellers, farmers and everyone in between have been pitching in
to help make recycling work.

Interested in Recycling:
Construction & Demolition
Construction and Demolition material, including shingles, can be handled by
our facility. It will be billed out at:
$60 per ton.
Electronics
There are many types of electronics to be re-cycled, such as: radios, computers,
stereos, monitors, printers, copiers, faxes, televisions and cell phones, etc.
Benton County Residents are Only charged for the following:
Old style (CRT) Computer Monitors
Up to 19”:

Tires
Tires come in different shapes and sizes, from car and truck tires to tractor tires;
some are still on rims. Effective August 16th, 2021 - at the discretion of the
Landfill Manager - tires brought in, in bulk loads, will be weighted and billed
out at 16 cents per pound. Single tires will be billed out as follows:

Garbage
Excluding recyclable, Garbage is defined as refuse, rubbish and debris, or any
discarded animal or vegetable matter coming from a kitchen, .
Garbage that comes in from licensed Haulers, who service cities and residential
customers, are billed at rates that have been worked out with the haulers and the
cities involved.
Individuals may bring garbage directly to the landfill, and it is billed out at:
$46 per ton / $10 minimum
